Isobel Williams has written a lead feature about observing and drawing the art of Japanese rope bondage, or kinbaku, for The Amorist magazine's first issue, out on 26 April. It is beautifully illustrated with her own life drawings, in which she often portrays models 'mid-air' without showing the network of suspension ropes. This sketch is of Rosalie Lello Li tied by Yoroï Nicolas.
